1959 : The Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment (Berkshire and Wiltshire) formed by amalgamation of The Royal Berkshire Regiment (Princess Charlotte of Wale's), and The Wiltshire Regiment (Duke of Edinburgh's)

1994 : amalgamated with The Gloucestershire Regiment to form The Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment.
